Continuous Process Improvement
We offer an extensive array of training, consulting, and quality management services focused on prominent industry models, methods, and standards, such as CMMI, PMBOK, and ISO. We are partnered with certified ISO Lead Auditors and CMMI Lead Appraisers who collectively have over 45 years of experience and expertise, alongside certified ISO Auditors, CMMI Practitioners, and Associates ready to help your organization reach its strategic objectives.
Our History

Accelerating Process Improvements was founded in 2012 by Philip Hill and has been a partner of the CMMI Institute for 13 years ongoing, providing CMMI Appraisals for Services and Development, as well as process consulting and CMMI model training in preparation for a CMMI Appraisal.
Caitlin Steere is now the owner of Accelerating Process Improvements. Her training in the CMMI model began in 2011, and since then she has been honing her skills as a process specialist through a mentor-protégé relationship with API Process Improvements, until her acquisition of the company the beginning of 2025, and currently in a mentor-mentee relationship through the Women in CMMI group run by ISACA. Her certifications include CMMI Practitioner, and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor. In addition to her prominent role in running her company, Caitlin also participates as a CMMI Appraisal Team Member, quality auditor, and process improvement consultant.
Our partnerships with several CMMI Lead Appraisers and High Maturity Lead Appraisers, CMMI Associates and Practitioners allow us to align the skillsets and domain experience of our partners to best fit our resources with our clients. We recognize that many companies now prefer to operate in remote and virtual work environments.
We can accommodate Appraisals and other consulting services in a virtual setting or in-person to best fit to your organization's requirements.
